- Darryl Pendleton, Associate Dean for Student and Diversity Affairs, College of Dentistry
Project Objectives:
A project that takes inventory of all of the communications new graduate and professional students receive from variety of UIC offices/programs before the start of the 1st term and into their first semester. The goal would be to increase effectiveness and reduce confusion for the new students by optimizing the quantity and content of these communications. Key campus partners would gather information on communications starting from the point of admission to enrollment, as well as the first year of college. The group would map the timeline / nature of the communication sent to particular audiences (and the sub-populations) and explore feasibility and strategies for optimization. A similar project was done at MSU with interesting results.
